Pro Fire Station Search:
How do I sign up for pro services? Create an account and purchase credits in the account tab. Once your account is funded, you can use the pro services.
How dose the pro service work? Each IP address gets a small number of free pro searches each month, so new users can try it out. Once those searches are utilized, you must create an account and sign in to use pro services.
How much do pro services cost? Each search costs 10 cents. Search results show the 3 nearest fire stations and you can visit all 3 fire stations as long as you don't navigate away from the search page.
Ad supported Fire Station Search:
How many searches can be made on the free services? Currently, each IP address gets a small number of free searches each month enabling new users to try the service without an account. Once those searches are utilized, all users on that IP must create an account and log in to use the mapping services. Once logged in, you get 300 ad supported searches per month.
Why are ads required? Ads provide a small revenue to offset the cost of the mapping API.
How do I create a team manager account? Visit the account page, team tab and select "Team Manager".
How do I join a team? First, your team manager must have an account set up as a team manager. Next, log in to your account, visit the account page, go to the team tab and select "Team Member". Then, enter you team manager's email address and press the "Add" button. When your manager approves your account, you can then use the team payments for your searches.
How are team accounts funded? When a team manager converts to a team manager account, his/her credits also become available to everyone on the team.
How are team members usage billed? Team members usage is billed to their team manager's account. If the team manager's account is depleted, usage will be billed to any remaining credits in the team member's account.
How do team managers track team member usage? Team managers can view the team member usage by visiting the account page billing tab. There is a section on this screen that shows the usage history for the last 100 searches. Use the "Filter by" drop down box to select a user to see that user's search history.
